Message from Ms Walker
We have had another busy and productive week at school, with lots of exciting learning taking place across all year groups. The week was rounded off perfectly with the fun and excitement of Pyjamarama Day, which was enjoyed by children and staff alike. Looking ahead, we are pleased to see some warmer weather forecast for next week. Please help us to keep the children safe and in the sun by ensuring they bring a sun hat to school each day and have sun cream applied before they arrive.
Football Match report
Last Thursday, the school football team played the quarter-final against Marsh Gibbon. We played some of our best football, with Sebastian scoring the first goal of the game. Marsh Gibbon played a fantastic game, making a comeback. The final score was 3-1 to Marsh Gibbon.
Toby said, "We played our best and it was unfortunate that we still lost.”
"We tried our hardest and worked as a good team," added Olivia.
Sebastian said, "Each of you played your hearts out and played a good game. We should be proud we got this far.”
Well done to all players this season.
Pyjamarama Day
A huge thank you to everyone who took part in Pyjamarama Day! The children and staff had a wonderful time celebrating the joy of reading and sharing stories together. We are delighted to announce that, thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £130.66. This fantastic contribution will help ensure that more children, across the country, can enjoy the benefits of books, stories and reading. Thank you for your support – it is very much appreciated.
Class Photos
A reminder that class photographs will be taking place on Monday 15th June during the morning.
Open Classroom Event
We are delighted to invite parents and carers to our Open Classroom Event on Wednesday 15th July at 2:45pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit your child's classroom and celebrate the fantastic work they have completed throughout the academic year. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing some of the children's achievements and learning experiences with you.
The Big Future Survey
Families are invited to take part in The Big Future, a national survey that gives children and young people the opportunity to share their views and help shape the future. If you would like to complete the survey with your child, please follow the link below:

Thank you for supporting your child to have their voice heard.

Updates & Reminders
Allergies
Just a reminder we have children in school with serious allergies please do not send your child in with items containing nuts, this includes chocolate spread, peanut butter and products containing a chocolate filling like Nutella or chocolate bars containing nuts. We have had a few occasions recently where we have found items have been sent into school in packed lunches which contain nuts.
Safety
A friendly reminder to all parents and carers: children in Year 4 and below must be accompanied onto the school site by an adult and should not be dropped off to walk in alone. This applies to all arrivals, including Breakfast Club and late arrivals to school.
Children in Years 5 and 6 may arrive unaccompanied if they have permission from their parents/carers; however, they must not be responsible for bringing younger siblings onto the school site.
The Parish Hall car park and surrounding area present significant challenges. Please do not park on the corner, obscuring the view round the bend, as this is dangerous: this is not a safe space to leave a vehicle. Please supervise young children closely in this area.
